Restructuring of the business had commenced earlier that same year to adjust company focus and emphasis to core mobility customers. This ongoing process of change is enabling us to continue providing the service our customers are expectant of but also to develop the business still further.

Our retail stores, of which there are 6 based in Yorkshire & Derbyshire, supply customers with a wide range of mobility equipment whilst our external sales team continue to visit customers in their own homes, and residential / care settings. In addition we have product experts who work with the leading manufacturers for powered and manual wheelchairs. Quite uniquely for most mobility companies we also supply and fit a wide range of vehicle adaptations. These support drivers and passengers of standard motor vehicles to continue to drive and also enable easier access for their mobility equipment whilst using their vehicle.

Our customer offering is further developing home solutions as being a key part of our business helping customers to retain independence by addressing their at home access requirements which include lifts, stairlifts, ramps, level showering and wash dry toilets. As a result our building and installations team continues to grow and diversify and to ensure we are keeping up with demand and despite the pandemic during 2020 we welcomed 2 new members of staff to support this.

In October 2020 we engaged with a company to re design and re model the Clark & Partners website. This work is nearly complete with the site due to 'go live' by mid to late May 2021. The new website will provide a more modern updated online store, help us develop our home solutions by being a source of information about the services we offer for customers to see online and will also for the first time include our vehicle adaptations as part of our all round mobility solutions offering.

May 2021 was a true milestone in our refocusing as we move our head office which includes warehouse, mobility workshop for repairs & servicing, administration offices, car adaptations and on site shop. This was a significant undertaking but our amazing staff as usual stepped up to the plate and everything went smoothly. As we write this piece we are enjoying our first week in newly refurbished offices and looking forward (with the rest of the country) to the lifting of restrictions and a return we hope to more usual ways of working and business.
